Pre New Years Thoughts
I have found if I have a dime in my pocket, I feel like it's burning a hole through my pants. Thus, I am Dave Ramsey's definition of a natural spender. For 2010, I really want to get a whole heck of a lot more thrifty.
I also develop the habit of getting to the gym 2x a week, and walking 30 minutes every day.
I want to eat less pizza and more salad.
I want to stop swearing as much.
I want to emulate the duggers. They have great Christian values.
I want to be a good wife and mom. I can always do better.
Saying that, my TGIF bacon, cheesy tators are about to beep. Got to get plates & sour cream out.
I'm working on uploading a couple YouTube videos of the twins. Will post them once uploaded....or when I can.

My kids playing in the leaves
Okay, so when you watch the video, obviously my baby girl doesn't seem to listen to me. I swear she does sometimes!
Yesterday was Halloween. What a surprise to see my folks. The babies got a surprise by getting their first suckers. They LOVED them. Then off the Grandpa & Grandma Curry, who surprised them with their own PUMPKINS filled with candy. Cool! My parents in town hooked the kiddos up and they LOVE their light sabers. In fact, they played with them all around Lowes and Wal-Mart today. (By the way, Irene lost a show and sock, but not her toys. We found the missing items in the kitchen sink aisle at Lowes.)
Pat raked some leaves and the footage shot was some of that outdoor play in the leaves time. Fun, fun, fun!

Happy Halloween
We are very blessed for sure. One of Pat's new co-workers lent us costumes for Jack and Irene, saving us some bucks. As you can see, Irene is a reluctant lady bug, and Jack is a giraffe. Today, Friday the 30th of October 2009, we took the kiddos around to my sister's work, some of my old haunts, our current employers, and finally dropped them off at daycare. Let me tell you, my arms are tired.
Pat and I were so hungry after lugging the kids around that we hit up Mel's Country Cafe at 11 a.m. Country fried steak, 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast. I ate it all and washed it down with coffee. Of course, that much food requires a nap. With the kids at daycare I got a 2 hour nap. Pat is still asleep working on 3.
Now, while there is a little time left, I'm heading off to JCPenney's to spend my free $10 gift certificate. You can use it to buy fancy shampoo and what not, so that's what I'm sure I'll do. See ya!
